Temporary IT & Logistics (Jakarta - DKI Jakarta)
BACKGROUND
Founded in 2001, CARDI (the Consortium for Assistance and Recovery towards Development in Indonesia) is a coalition of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the Dutch refugee foundation Stichting Vluchteling (SV) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). CARDI’s clients are Indonesians affected by poverty, conflict and natural disaster in the provinces of Aceh, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Central Sulawesi, Maluku and
der—are evident in all CARDI programs, and ensure that change is both durable and sustainable. While still addressing basic needs for displaced populations and returnees, CARDI increasingly provides transitional, post-conflict recovery and development programs.
OVERVIEW
The IT & Logistic temporary will work closely with the ICT Officer in maintaining & supporting the needs of IT activities in all field offices. He/she will also work closely with Admin/Logistic Coordinator and/or Logistic Officer in supporting the needs of Logistic activities in all field offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES IT
* Administration of multi-user, multi-computer system:
* Servers Administration
* Network and Firewall Administration
* Provision of IT helpdesk and IT Support for Meetings
* Support CARDI Website Administration
* Support Intranet administration
* Provision of IT Administrative Support
* Work with ICT Officer in Vsat maintenance
Logistics
* Assist in keeping update inventory lists of assets, equipment and other CARDI items within the office, houses/apartments in
* Jakarta and all field offices as well as consolidate and maintain CARDI Assets List and Inventory
* Work with Logistic Officer for repair and maintenance of CARDI assets and also support field office in any repair and maintenance related matter
* Maintain and record of CARDI Jakarta stock. All stock should be accountable and regularly checked.
* Assist Logistic Officer to ensure that all stock should be stored in the manner by which each specific line demands (shelving, locked box)
* Handle for the maintenance and repairing of CARDI equipment and office building
* Assist in vehicle management and control, including fuel, part consumption and service scheduling and keep the record
* Assist in supervision and training of drivers based on internal CARDI policies and procedures and conduct regular meeting
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in ICT or programming, and work experience in IT and also Logistic
* Strong background in advanced networking; Virtual Private Network implementation a plus
* Strong hardware deployment/repair skills
* Strong telephone-based technical troubleshooting skills.
* Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; Strong spoken and written English a must
* Willingness to travel to all field offices and participate in office activities
* Ability to cope with more than one task at the same time and as part of a team as well as to work autonomously when required
* At least 1-2 years experience in IT support, maintenance and trouble shooting in a network environment, standalone computers as well as system administrator.
* Good knowledge in configuration of operating system (MS Windows 2000, XP) and server configuration (Windows 2000 Server, Server 2003)
* Experienced in identifying basic problems in hardware such as multi function printer, laptop, and PC.
* Experience of working with IT equipments : WI-FI access point, switch, router modem and PABX & VSAT
